Description
Nos APDs InGaAs fournissent une grande efficacité quantique, une réactivité élevée et un faible bruit sur une plage spectrale comprise entre 1100 et 1700nm, avec des zones actives allant jusqu’à 200µm de diamètre. Elles sont optimisées pour une utilisation à 1550nm et conviennent parfaitement aux applications de télémétrie laser sans danger pour les yeux. Proposées dans un boitier TO18 ou montées sur support céramique, elles sont disponibles avec amplificateur de transimpédance à faible bruit et refroidisseur thermoélectrique intégré (Cf Module APD).
Une photodiode à avalanche est un composant optoélectronique qui se distingue des autres détecteurs par l’effet avalanche permettant de générer un gain très important (qui peut être supérieur à 500) par rapport à une photodiode PIN. Ce gain permet de détecter des flux lumineux très faibles.
